A special piece of oak was used in the making of this bowl. It dictated the shape of the vessel with accentuated small irregularities that tell the story of the history and life of the tree from which it was made.
The outer wall of the bowl is brushed, then dyed with white paint, sanded and polished.
The surface of the wood is protected with a mixture of oils and waxes suitable for contact with food.
